Practical Support

Besides participation in the projects, described in the programme, there are various possibilities to work with Open Houses Network.

The Network is always looking for support especially for preparation of the projects and work after the projects. This means, above all, to take care of foreign trainees, guests and guest groups as well as working at the office in Weimar.

Open Houses Network is always interested in local contacts in the regions. The projects very often take place in Middle Thuringia, the area around Dresden, in Mecklenburg-Westpomerania and the Altmark. Partly the work with the Network can be approved as a practical training.

At the moment Open Houses Network is especially looking for:

• Interested craftsmen, who want to support the work of Open Houses Network especially during the building weeks
• Motivated camp leaders with good knowledge of English for the seasonal projects
• Occasionally workers at the office in Weimar
• People, who would like to help, for example, by distributing flyers in German cities during May and June
